Melbourne University launched their book, Incentivising employees: Theory, policy and practice of employee share ownership in Australia, with the Parliamentary Secretary’s speaking at that launch.

At the conference ASIC announced a review of the Policy Statement 49 and Class Order 03/184. If you would like to hear about ASIC’s views in this area ASIC Commissioner John Price’s speech can be found in full on our member site.

The Minister for Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy, Senator Stephen Conroy, Assistant Treasurer, David Bradbury, and Minister for Climate Change, Industry and Innovation, Greg Combet, also announced a review of regulatory arrangements for employee share schemes in technology and start up companies.
